Our Pastors
Before launching Waterfront Christian Church Andrew & Noelene Mercer were the senior pastors of Summerlakes Christian Church from 1995 to 2001, and since that time have enjoyed assisting in the growth and influence of that church as associate pastors. Before that we were mainly involved in youth ministry, here in Western Australia and up until 1988, in New South Wales.
With our two incredibly cute daughters, we want to see the north-coastal corridor of suburban Perth touched and changed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since committing our lives to Jesus Christ in 1979 when we were teenagers, we have seen God move mightily through many and varied circumstances. Without a relationship with Jesus, we would have floundered in these situations.
Our goals for this year include seeing many people transformed by Jesus; developing the leadership and ministry base at Waterfront Christian Church; and personally, to become the leaders' and parents that the Lord wants us to be. There is nothing better than fulfilling the Lord's will in your life, and we aim to continue on that purpose this year.
